What a beautiful piece! I would like to go to Liverpool and see it. It seems it would be well known but I only stumbled on it by accident.

The Ego and the Id, Franz West
Many people are familiar with this work, at least if you live in New York City, but in terms of public art, it draws you into it like few pieces I have seen before. At the bottom of each twisting colorful branch is a seat for the public. I guess it could be described as furniture design, but whatever it is, it's a crowd pleaser.
